Fate Movies/Series

Wow! Another Fate Stay/Night adaptation! This time it will focus on Sakura and Shiro? So does that mean Rin will be on the back burner? Will Rider actually get some cool parts? Will we get that bondage scene with Rin AGAIN(w/ gag this time)? Will we see more of the other Servants this time? Will we get more awesome Figma toys? And a Rin with a more conventional outfit? A Medusa/Rider update Figma? It's movie trilogy so... it will definitely have more flesh that the 2010 Unlimited Blade Works movie. 

And I'm not entirely sure if this is an amalgam of a bunch of Fate movies/series/games that are coming out but it's pretty darn cool with that music. I know there are a plethora of Fate related animes coming out this year so I'm pretty excited. 

Fate Stereo Love

Made this some time back. Never really shared it so, here it is! 

Furyu: Rin Tohsaka Fate/Stay Night (Unlimited Blade Works)

As part of my July spoils, this Rin Tohsaka was anticipated for a while now. I have had my sight on this statue for a while. She came with a pretty affordable price tag so 'why not', right? Let's check her out then.

The box itself would not have been my favorite box, but it could have been decent if it wasn't for the way it was 'handled'. Maybe it was the last one on the shelf or what not, but it's just a mangled box.

It's a nicely colored box with the "Fate Stay/Night" logo, peppered with her magical jewels. Other than that, not much to really gawk here aside from the nice little folds and damages of the box.

So obviously Rin is a statue so she does not come with any kind of accessory. Her stand is pretty simple, but Rin herself is something to admire. 

It's obvious that I think Rin is a cutie. Her choice of outfit(mostly worn in the Fate Stay Night series) also adds to her ever so enticing vibe. To top it off, this statue also has a posture that has Rin's essence pouring out of it and at the same time, elaborating at bit more on that sexuality that is hinted from her. Now I know she was in high school in the series for the most part, but ... come on. 

The sculpting on the figure itself is amazing but something to admire si the way her clothing articles are 'in sync' with her insinuated movement. The way Rin is 'waving' her long hair out of her face is also quite dynamic and so Rin in every way. The paint is of course something to admire as well; not great but not anywhere close to terrible. There are some shadowing affects here and there and for the most part, it is spot on to Rin's color scheme. That dark red really does go well with her black leggings, skirt, and mahogany shoes. The skin tone does well to capture her anime appearance.

The face isn't the highlight of the figure, but she is far from being one of the atrocious figures from the dark ages of Marvel Legends female interpretations. The bright blue eyes do stick out like they should, then we have the calm and somewhat seductive look on Rin's face is a great addition. 

Details. One must love details. The command seal on her right hand is there and I'm glad they didn't leave that out. That is after all a part of her character. Panties? Where? 

As a comparison, here's the Rin statue next to her Figma counterparts: Rin 2.0 and Original Rin. One can definitely see the height difference! Still wish 2.0 was more in line with her red outfit. 

With the statues lined up and the ones that came in this year, I don't think Rin will be winning any 'statue of the year' but that is not me saying that I do not like this figure. I didn't expect much from it with the price point BUT I am impressed with what I got with that price tag. For any Rin fans, this is a must! I do love the fact that she's in my collection and perhaps she will get a shout out at the end of the year. 

My July Spoils

So July was definiltey a pretty decent month. Well to be honest, it was more in line with my reading material than anything else(as if I have time for any of that). I did gain a few POPs here (Gwen, Harley, and Diana) in terms of figures and as the picture above shows, I gained another statue of Rin and then we have the MAIN attraction for July: Playarts KAI Fran! Having been reviewing a couple of Playarts pre Kai definitely winds me up for this figure! Excited beyond belief!

At any rate, I have my crosshairs for a couple of things like the Marvel Legends Spider-Man and X-Men; also, I have a couple of preorders making their way soon and THEN September is a big month for a gamer!

Damsel of the Month (Tribute):

I said this year I had some good prospects lined up, and I do. Truth to be told, some of them are not up to par with the best pics (least not one fitting for this time; Cinematic Scarlet Witch and Wonder Woman barely have any). So this Month will be of those tributes to my personal favorites and the month that really DiD hit it off. So....

Spider-Woman and Empowered

She has GOT to be a no-brainer. Jessica Drew remains to be my top damsel for some time. And while damsels like Rikku and Elsa may cut it close, they are still a little bit in second/third place compared to Ms. Drew. I will eventually do a 'new costume' tribute for Jessica Drew once she gathers enough of it. Right now, let's enjoy her classic.

Empowered is fairly new and she isn't anywhere close to Ms. Drew, but Ms. Powers definiltey is a great testament that the DiD genre can be explored with some story, character development, and still provide fan service. Helps that she is a 'parody' version of Spider-Woman.

Rikku

Rikku is also a no brainer. I adore this gal and I have a plan to commission more of her with her alternate outfits, FFX outfit, AND more of her Thief Dressphere. This spunky little Al Bhed just deserves all the ropes she gets!

Elsa

Nope! Can't let her go! Elsa has climbed ranks just QUITE recently and I already commissioned a few pics of her in Distress. I don't plan on stopping soon but it seems other people have the right idea and so I can pretty much sit back and watch as others create her distress for me!

Now I'm not saying I don't like the other Damsels; I do, otherwise they would not have been picked. Regardless, with the lists running low here and there, I might have to get a bit more creative and with time not in great quantity as before, well, I have to be a bit more "frugal". I really do want to continue this so we shall see where we are going.

And by the way, No Sailor Mars yet?

Some Words: I already have Rin as part of a previous Month some time ago. As part of the Damsels I wanted to 'tie up' for this year, Rin deserves a major do over since I have gained a lot more knowledge about her since last putting her on bondage! Basically, Rin is a mage in a world where Mages do battle for the Holy Grail. They have servants whom they make a pact with.... and so forth. I won't go in depth about it since that isn't what we are here for. What we are for is... well... let's go to it.

Those two are both screenshots for the Unlimited Blade Works movie 2010 and Series from 2015. I will recycle some of the images from my previous Damsel of the Month dedication to Ms. Tohsaka of course! One of the things I found hilarious on both anime is that they never addressed how the heck she wasn't able to use her magic or call Saber since she isn't gagged.... it's what she needed, honestly. A good little gag. Rin is quite talky. As LoZ demonstrated on the side art, that's how you keep a mouthy mage silent! And gagging her with her own stockings is quite sensual and humiliating, I bet for the young mage! But as long as it does the job, it's only a win-win for us, right?

And from the older anime. I'll keep bouncing back and forth between these screen caps since I have plenty of them.

We already talked about Rin's personality a bit. She is outspoken, brave, and just downright bitchy when it comes to it. Thing about it is though that she is has a pretty good courageous heart. She has good intent for the most part and she is trying her best to upkeep the honor the Tohsaka house while trying to be as honorable as she can. She actually dislikes most of what the Grail War rules implements. She doesn't like it when innocent people get hurt, thus how she ended up getting even closer to Shiro. She is pretty confident as well, as I mentioned before, almost like Asuka but a bit more mellowed down. She seems to have a habit of blushing more often than not; especially around Archer and Shiro (who are of course ....).

Forgot the source of these pictures, but I do remember they come from a pretty dirty site.

She needs a gag for all these shenanigans! Can't have her shouting some spell, can we?

As far as outfits go, Rin has her signature red and black ensemble. The red blouse with the 'cross' on her chest, the black skirt, the black thigh high stockings, and the dark mahogany like shoes. She also wears her hair in twin pigtails. If you ask me, she likes to tease when she's casting spells. That 'signature' outfit of hers does some justice to seem panty shots! She also has two other outfits that she wore; her school girl uniform which she wears a red coat over it, and I believe her 'casual' outfit that she wore for the majority of the second half in Unlimited Blade Works.

Both of these lovely pictures are drawn by D-Mizton. They both show her two outfits that were prominent in the Stay/Night and the Unlimited Blade Works series. Same tie, one has more refined skill and more restraint, obviously. 

And that's a variant outfit that she never really uses from my knowledge. I wish she had others in her school girl outfit with the red coat. She also had a 'modern' adult look in the epilogue which wouldn't have been that bad. SPAM TIME!

Looks like Saber got the upper hand and is ..... letting Rin just sit there and watched helplessly and gagged too!

AND.... I am not going to post the whole thing since it gets really lewd, but I will post the few that I think were still sexy but on my borders. Basically, someone from this site had talent to draw and did an alternate scene:

Again, take a gander at your won risk! It gets REALLY dirty. Oh... and the bondage ends after a certain scene... boo. AND NO GAG?!. But it was a great look into it. 

So Rin is a real gem! I have to concoct some kind of DiD fic out of her one of these days since she has reached my top favorites as an Anime girl and not just looks now. The anime itself, both Zero and Unlimited Blade Works is probably one of the best things I watched recently and it developed two sexy damsels (Saber being the other). So, as part of the redone Damsel of the Month, I think Rin deserved it! Next month... we'll see who to do next. Hope you all enjoyed it! Did a lot of spamming and screen shots here!
