"…The End(?) Of the Blackest Nights…"

Another Year of it. The weekend where retail goes berserk; well to be more precise, the shoppers are the ones that lose all common sense and cause riot among their fellow people. I can't really fully say that I'm against what they do because for what they do they provide work and funds for me and my own however I do disagree for their lack of common sense.

Well, that's done. At least that portion of it. Now after the blackest nights it should be the brightest days, right?

Last Year my disdain was so much less potent and less incriminating ….. This year… my actions perhaps conformed a nightmare to rise up and take arms.

I'm not sure what is considered the 'Brightest Days'. What is should be me being complacent and such. Well, here comes the new month and the end of the year upon the horizon.

What burdens do I carry over or perhaps what weight do I drop off tomorrow so that I can tread freely amongst the brand new day?

So I enjoy this endeavor as much as it stresses me the hell out! There is a LOT of work to do in this place, and suffice to say, there are a plethora of ideas and content to put into flesh so that this room would out do the last one aesthetically. As you can see from the above picture and the next few...

It is indeed a disheveled mess in here! Everywhere an anywhere you see some of my most prized collections!  But I could take solace in some things DOES have some sort of coherent 'picture'.

 

Some of the recognizable posters and toys are coming out of the wood work! And certain shelves are (maybe) set in stone!!! But this is so far the most 'complete' visage out of all four walls...

Okay, not so much complete as I said. But the entertainment center is indeed ready to be used! But enough of gallivanting in the world wide web and flaunting an incomplete game room! Back to action!

My Feelings right now....

Maybe I should enter the realm where I am not forced to be page to be written on.

Maybe I should let the side of me that is the worse of the ones I was trying to deter win...

Some of the signature work a long time Forum companion did for me. Her work is exhilarating to say the least! I mean I made my own signature not too long ago (Somebody That I know xD) which I was proud of but to have the caliber of art these four sig put into them... well... I don't think that is feasible with so much things in my department, so to speak! But regardless, please check out her work! She is fantastic at what she does!

"Drinking out of Cups"

Alright I can admit that in this day and age, coffee is a must for the majority of us working class people (students and just workers alike). Some of us indulge on popular franchises, some just make it at the convenience of their own home, some do both; the latter would be me.  So in the process of doing so, why not go in style, right? So the picture above me is my coffee cup, one that is made with love and so much dedication by my significant other. The theme? Well, comic book characters that are usually in my radar. Now since I became a fan of DC, Batman, Lanterns, Avengers, Spider-Man alike are now in this said cup! A myriad of combined greatness if I do say so myself!!!

So with much gratitude and love in return, thanks dearest for this nicely made cup that spells 'ME'. And if one haven't been able to discern, it's the same type of style she uses on my table/s. Clearly one had noticed through the various of pictures I have posted that the table my collection show usually sit on is at a Final Fantasy based one (and no, it's not taken at a comic book store. That is my game room, duh!)

Suffice to say, I'm drinking coffee out of it right now as we speak!

DC Toys addition

So again as I have reiterated more than once throughout my course of blogging, I am now a big DC Fan. Maybe not as knowledgeable as I am with Marvel, but I am starting to get into the groove of some of the DC Mythos.  So needless to say this month was full of festivities and gifts. Needless to say I am a glutton for adding more and more decorations to my already too vibrant (and lack of space) Game Room! So.. Here are my new additions to the DC wall!

Black Lantern Flash

I don't have any plans on opening these guys. Their packaging is transparent enough for me to take note of every fine detail and not to mention that once you open them up (requires a lot of work if not an easy but messy cutting procedure). So they'll remain inside as a wall decor.

Now Mera in Red Lantern form doesn't have to be alone! 

Now the next are the Anime fusion with Western style. Now it was my understanding that DC's line up was usually called 'Ame-Comi' while Marvel was with Bishoujo. I was wrong since there are a few Bishoujo holding some of the finer Female DC characters. Well... here they are!

And while she does look Amazing in the box...

Nice package with some good description.

Being out of the box serves her more justice.

And for category purposes, she is lined up with my Marvel Bishoujos.

Next is my Ame-Comi I gained this month. She might be my only one but she is AMAZING to say the least! And I also got a mini Ame-Comi; my first one and it happens to be Harley Quinn!

Now in my honest opinion, these can be very intriguing (the Ame-comi) out of the box as well. Like their cousins (Bishoujo), their intricate details and just how much effort put into making these ladies look attracting are of course perfect for display, however my DC wall still looks bare if I decide to take them out of there SO... box it is!

So this is what my DC wall looks like now after those additions from this month!

Not so bad compared to what it was a couple of months ago, right? (DC Wall; The Game Room) And it is still building. Sadly, I am running out of space so I believe that eventually I will really have to SLOW down drastically on my addiction in accumulating these wonderful things. Well anyways, that's that. More to come in the next few days to capsulize what this month provided for me!
