Bishoujo: Huntress (Redo Pics)

This is my previous review of my Bishoujo Huntress. I like this statue, though admittedly, as sexy as Helena may be, because of the fact that she isn't on my top DC heroine, this statue doesn't get much of the attention as it should.

Regardless, still a great statue!

Aside from her other assets, the pose with the taff, the wind effects and just the overall ambiance of the statue makes her a must for any Huntress fan!

Bishoujo: Batwoman

Bishoujo came out with two characters that highly enamored me within a couple of months so, here I am with the second character: Batwoman. I'm going to be honest to the notion that I know very little about Batwoman other than she's a lesbian, ass kicking, well suited, female version of Batman. While my knowledge of her backstory is very limited, I do have to say that she looks gorgeous so her Bishoujo did her justice! So, without any more delay, let's move on to the figure!

Familiar with the box with the previous review of a Bishoujo was just a few posts away! Though I will point out that Batgirl's box was a lot bigger than Jubilee!

So let's move on to the accessories of Batwoman which consists of an alternate head from her masked version.

So Kate makes an effort to at least hide her identity by putting on a mask that has a long wig on it, which resembles her natural hair color to begin with. But let's not admonish her that part and just compliment the figure. I do love the alternate head; as always, we have a beautiful face that is well done by Kotobukiya.

The stand has a bit more flare to it than the previous Bishoujo I just gained. It's a nice crimson color with a metallic shine, which is always a plus to me. But the color isn't the main thing! It's the embossed "Batwoman" on it! Lettering definitely concurs with her text in her comic books(getting cancelled by the way) and for sure fits the ambiance! Speaking of ambiance, let's just get into the whole figure itself:

Letting the pictures speak for itself now.

The colors. The pose. The effect on her cape is just astounding.

Now here's some image of her in the same rotation with her variant head. Normally I wouldn't do this much show casing for an alternate but it does make a difference.

I think I do like her symbol better than Batman's.

Taking a moment to pause to look at that detail on that cape. Lot's of good wind to get that much of a dramatic detail!

Great work on her Bishoujo. I am speechless for the most part. Well, so here she is next to her other Gotham related Bishoujo gals.

Harley is probably the most out of place, but you know.

Batgirl
Huntress
Harley Quinn
Missing Catwoman. Though that damn Bishoujo is elusive as all heck because of the price. Anyways! Trying not to tangent!

Unless Bishoujos and/or statues come in abundance this year, I think Batwoman is already claiming her spot. It's going to be really hard to dethrone her with just how much sensuality and the overall astounding quality she brings in my collection. Anyone who is into Gotham girls and Bishoujo... anyone into Batwoman, this statue is a must!

"Reassemble"

March 2013
Changes are good. A bit of a shift in the norm would do one's soul justice and catharsis. So what to do?

Just a bit of purging. A little bit of this. A little bit of that...

Darkness.

Move things around a bit for some fun. So what to go on the side that used to be comics and such? Well now...

Shelving units and Bishoujos!

And then THERE!

That is pretty much going to be the main idea of things. Bishoujos(aside from the Psylocke, I don't think there are too many of them in my eyes) will keep this space occupied.

And moving some comic books around and such. Adding some other ... 'art' and framing things about and the space is pretty much in coherent order as I like it. BUT... I have this right now...

Looks like I'll need more things to occupy that two empty space. Anyways....

DC: Ame-Comi

This part of my collection has been stranded in the back end; not to say I am not still enthused about their part in my ever so exuberant Game Room, it's just that they were part of my: "Do Not Open" collection. That is until I gained this room. So!

DC Toys Addition(Ame-Comi Flash), Ame-Comi(Batgirl and Huntress)

Black Lantern 'She' Flash

I don't think she was really ever around in the comic book line durning the 'Blackest Night' storyline. Though this figure still does justice. I believe there is a regular flash version(classic red and yellow), though I came across her death version first so I stuck with her. Rather awesome statue to say the least.

She holds the whole 'deathly' visage but still the rather provocative swag; the Black Lantern scheme that adorns her body and the rather sass in the posture that is also insinuating that she is ready to take off. The stands cool too as it spells 'Ame-Comi' as a tribute to the genre she is summoned from. Awesome, suffice to say.

Black alternate costume, Batgirl
If I remember correctly she was the first one I bought, or perhaps second as Huntress would be the one prior. Who knows? This particular one I believe holds a comic book series herself in the original color scheme(blue and grey). Though the rather flattering and rather boastful posing and partnered in with the exuberance of her hair and cape makes her all the while gorgeous.

Not to beat on the idea that her posing is efficacious in the way it is trying to deliver the polar opposite presence of her male side(Batman equals stern, sullen, and lacks sarcasm) fits the 'anime'ish' innuendo. Again the stand makes a proud statement that its an Ame-Comi product. There is a bit more of a special way the stand words as she has one leg out rather than both on the said stand like most statues have.

Huntress
Out of the three, Huntress is my least favorite one which might be misconstrued because I think this statue is awesome. A little bit more unique take on Huntress from her western counter part. Not that big of a difference since she still adheres to the color scheme and the trademark mask, however the one that that is distinct to the Ame-Comi is her 'cape'. Not so much of a cape but it adds a flare to it, which again I adore.

It's actually more of a jacket than a cape; or maybe a cloak. Not too entirely sure but again it's take on it is rather unique and enamoring. Much like a lot of the statues I have, justice is only done to their league if they are out of the box and 'posed'. Well, that's that for my Ame-Comis.
