Damsel of the Month:

Name/Alias: Jean Grey, Marvel Girl, Phoenix

Series: X-Men, Uncanny X-Men

Some Words: A really obscure character of the DiD world indeed! Truthfully, it was almost a strenuous task to get some pics of this lovely red head in distress! So why pick her? Well, one of her alias is after all the Phoenix! The new year, the new damsel to send us off, so this is the pick. She's not my favorite, honestly out of all the X-Women that rose to fame, she is the one gal that didn't seem to truly get my attention. Maybe it's the lack of DiD material? I don't know. But, here we are now trying her out on the ropes! So what to say about her?

Yvonne Craig

The X-Woman who has died and reborn far more times than we have seen her change her costume. One of the original X-Men. One of the founding members of the Original X-Factor. Cyclops' one and only(kind of) and Logan's love of his life. She's got mind powers almost as tricked out as Xavier; almost but she's a bit stronger. Combine her with the Phoenix Force and well... maybe that's why we've seen her less in bondage?

Bound and escaped, only to be tied up and gagged again. Least that's what we were all hoping for, right? Other than being one of the worse Damsel mascot of the X-Womens' history and dying redundantly? I'll give her credit. She's kicked ass for some long years and she was one of the casts of the 90's X-Men! Her bondage scene was also lackluster in that cartoon by the way. Speaking of change of costumes, we've seen her Phoenix bondage shoot. So here are some of the others(in no particular order on which I like best).

Rook07
The Evolution costume and casual. Well that's a kinky position that last pic!

The short lived(I think) X-factor costume.
LegendarySid
Wish I can find the person who drew this!

And of course her popular 90's costume! This was probably my most familiar costume with Jean Grey second to her Phoenix force one.

Wyler
Cuttle Squid

Captive 2D
And obviously her "Marvel Girl" uniform got a lot more bondage love(and some official ones too). Maybe it's the skirt and the whole boots? Lovely looking I must say! And she came with friends in bondage!

All in all, Jean Grey is not a bad looker and definitely in dire need of more bondage scenes. I was adamant about her having the January slot because she is the Phoenix; the testament that if something dies, it will be reborn. Hope. Perseverance. 2015 is all about that for me, I believe! And yes, let's not take away the moment that Jean Grey will escape only to be bound and gagged again! So... love month next month!!!! Who shall it be?!

.:Joining Ranks:.

Masterless on Toyark

I have recently joined a new forum called ToyArk to replace my 'other' one which seemed dead and no longer of interest to me. This one fits a bit more of my preference and for toy collectors, it's a zenith of a past time as I let my collector eyes gallivant their way into others' superior collection. While the caliber of my collection isn't necessarily in the lowest totem pole, it is far from being infallible considering. Needless to say, this site provides eye candy, information, updates, and just more talk with others with the same forte as me.

For now it seems like a place to join ranks with it. Along with the fiction I live, in the past time I am allotted, it would be a very good place to spend some of my 'writing' and a bit of my newly reformed hobby of 'editing' some of my pictures. With that said, check out their site! They also go hand in hand with BigBadToyStore, so that is always a plus.

"Changes"

Changes are at hand. And no, perhaps I am not just speaking about the external aesthetics of this certain page I vent and flaunt in, that notion also pervades through some thought process, time management, through my beliefs, and perhaps to the way I wear my 'armor'.

"...Somebody that I used to Know..."

That song does nothing but accentuates the true outcome of a certain event in my life.

Iron Man 3

There is something to be said about this movie. It may be the final mark of a now inextricable face of Tony Stark which is Robert Downey Jr. There are hard hitting rumors that Mr. Downey may not be the Iron Avenger for the Avengers 2 movie set to be released in 2015. If that is the case, then this movie is even more of a prominent installment to the Shell Head's movie-verse. Regardless of the fact, there are many things that I am more than exuberant about when it comes to this movie. For one, we are introducing Tony Stark's ascension from a 'big man in armor' to a hard hitting pompous Iron Avenger(comic book wise anyways; movie aberration is yet to be seen if it adheres to that notion): Extremis Armor.

Extremis Armor!
Now the distinction between comic book and movie armor had always accentuated that the movie-verse's role is to be a stand alone entity with of course some major influence from its comic book counterpart. The armor alone that is donned "Extremis" has more than enough to signify that.

The images above are a Extremis Mark I(The 'Civil war' Armor, suffice to some people) and the Extremis 2.0(Bleeding Edge, or Heroic age armor, pick the poison, I suppose). They may look similar to the movie-verse armor, but again, they could be a different mark altogether. Regardless, it does look good in my opinion. the other things that did sprout out from the movie that may force some mastication(hahaha) of words from some comic-nerd-taboo ridden geeks are the possible homage of his 'hall of armors' showcase!

The Silver Centurion is one good example of a VERY popular armor that adorned Tony's stature during his early days. The second to have silver in the scheme as well, of course his VERY first appearance being the one to have the silver aesthetic first.

And I could be wrong, but this could be the same armor. Might be faux interpretation honestly! Though it could be the big 'arc ray' and the red and gold that is throwing me off. But they have revealed a whole hell of a lot more and there are others still remaining in enigma("Gemini Armor"). Can we have a fan service in the name of Hulkbuster anyone?

Some comic book exclusive names are also making appearances to accommodate for the story of the Extremis! Also, there are a LOT of rumors that Pepper might actually get her OWN 'Rescue' armor! Truthfully, I just saw her 'rescue' Tony Stark after being rescued BY Tony Stark. Yes, what an oxymoron. And of course the antagonist!

Mandarin is also in the big screen. Though I am not impressed that Mandarin is not casted by an asian actor since Mandarin is CHINESE! But again, premature opinion that might possibly change once I see the movie. Well, that's all for my jabber about Iron Man 3 which will be out in a month! Can't wait! Hopefully I am not disappointed!

Previously On X-Men....

I remember this 90's Cartoon and these two were the main pair Love Birds! I'm sure some of you would find this rather nostalgic, eh?

Anyways... Blast in the past moment I suppose! Don't have much intricate post for tonight... Rather depleted to say the least!

Although I have yet to bring myself to really finish these first two DVDs. Perhaps I will one of these days. Though, I DO have a lot to catch up on.

"The End..."

So it began with that, and it ends with this:

There were changes done to this game room over the year I have stayed in it. I did a lot of shifting, organizing, 'cleaning up' and adding on. Of course such changes could be miniscule and a bit of a task for those who aren't as in tuned with the nooks and crannies of my said game room. However there is one area that could be easy to spot DESPITE.

The DC wall for sure had the most growth over the past twelve months. I started out with roughly about ten figures on display along with the New 52 poster (as shown in my old post), but I ended up with around twenty, so doubt the size of the original. And that's not even counting the fact that I started to get HEAVILY into Bishoujo statuettes, which is the next obvious change!

Where there was a wide array of spawns lurking... now became the place for Symbiotes(Shelf of the Symbiotes) and sexy gals of Marvel and DC kin(Bishoujo Marvel first 3, Black Cat BishoujoWonder Woman Bishoujo, Supergirl Bishoujo,  Harley Quinn Bishoujo, DC Toys Addition) shall reside and only the WORHTY Spawn are left.  Okay so that statement is untrue since I like all of those Spawns a hole hell of a lot more since they were out of their packaging, however the ones I left are the ones I thought would be adequate. Though for the most part the 'anime/video game' panel above stayed as it was from the beginning. Added three pictures, but for the most part it remained as 'untouched' as it had been.

So that's the view point of my game room through my gamer chair. Of course the shelf on the right (from this angle) Has a somewhat obvious change from when I began. The Mass Effect shelf, so to speak with the 'three' items in there (not including Tali that I just received a couple of days ago). Of course the Marvel Shelf went through some changes within the month but since Iron Man dominates the color scheme, it's pretty hard to spot such difference. Mostly the addition of some Hasbro toys, the Revoltechs(Iron Man Mark VI, Iron Man Mark III), minor change in positions and such. But believe me, unless you are in this room everyday, or if one actually has the motivation to play 'where is waldo' innuendo by comparing and contrasting the two pictures of the Marvel Shelf, be my guest.

The bottom part which are made up of the 'Mighty Muggs' and the 'Mini Mates' have very little to no change. But can one spot the variation in these shelves?

And in the picture above it's pretty obvious! The addition of the Mass Effect DC direct(Mass Effect Quad) action figures! Of course the growth of the DC Wall and the addition of Ignis and KOS-MOS in this area does change it up a bit.

And of court the 'Change' explains this (The 'Change')

As for this corner, I can't help but putting my Mass Effect Calendar up for the few days I am here! Got to see some of January through the lenses of the Normandy and the crew!

And Alas... The DC comic wall that greets me before I enter and/or leave this room... ONE last picture of it. One last final glimpse before the 'End'.

WHAT?! Remember? (Rebuilding the Game Room)

So with that said.... one can't just show a Dis-Assembling something without showing some sort of solace for the future RIGHT????

TO BE CONTINUED..........
