Damsel of the Month (variant): Gratitude

While I'm sure these gals don't appreciate a post about how grateful I am that they are my favorite Damsels, I'm sure you guys can. True, one of the three in the picture above won't be in this list(I haven't done anything DiD related with Rikku for a while now! Haven't commissioned anything recently with her too so I feel like she hasn't had a tighter rope work on her xD), but that doesn't mean that I don't appreciate her. With that said, these are the Damsels that come to mind when talking about how grateful I am to know that they are just a knot away:

Spider-Woman: Longest favorite of mine! After Issue#6's infamous and notoriously misleading scene... and the fact that she is just lovely in ropes, how can I not be grateful of her? Besides, she's getting more commissioned love!

Elsa: Won't be letting this Vixen go for a while! She's just caught my eye ever since she introduced herself in 2014(for me). True, I haven't commissioned her as much, but I am writing an epic long story about her! Won't let her go for sure!

Wonder Woman: If you want to talk about classic and a damsel who was created to 'empower' women but actually was more or less someone else's horny scheme of getting more bondage on comic books... look no further than this woman! True, her bondage scenes have dwindled... but she sure does deserve some of her rope burns still!

Daphne Blake: She is classic! One of the first animated DiDs I saw grace my screen and probably inspired me to start my hobby of (short lived) drawing... which led to more writing.

Catwoman: She caught a bunch of DiD fans' attention with her scene in Almost Got 'im in the Animated Series! She makes me purr half to death!

Empowered: Oh yes! The DiD fan service kind of gal! Love her to death for more than enough reasons! I plan on having one good commission of her one of these days! Love her story, love her humor, love her parody(of Spider-Woman), and just adore her.

-----

Now, there are TON of other Damsels that I can put here, but I just decided to go with the ones that I have had some kind of attention or thought to recently. Well... that's about it for this post. Another variant version of my used to be new monthly flavor posts! Until that time, hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

Damsel of the Month(Halloween Edition):

Artwork by Kachima
I know, I know, I'm getting a bit behind in this endeavor. I haven't technically picked a single damsel for a bit, and I'm not sure if I can do that every month with how crazy thing have been! Regardless, I will try to at least keep this thread alive! This monthly little theme I have going on might not be as 'focused' as it used to be, but I want to keep doing it! I will get back on the roll eventually. But this month's theme is "halloween". Now, most damsels I have picked are in costumes... obviously. But let's just keep it the spooky theme, shall we? Bats. Spiders! Black Cats! Get the drift?! So...

Morrigan
She's had her month before! Check out how this Dark Stalking femme fatale in her own Distress(Link under the pic! Credit to the artists' on her own section; same can be said about the next few gals too!). She's a succubus! She's something that bumps in the night! Or should I say: 'mmmpphhh!' in the night?

Spider-Woman
I have blogged about this gal and will continue to do so because she deserves every single slot of sexiness I can give in this place! Shame LoZ hasn't done a DiD of her in ages... might ask... So yeah! Spider-Woman! She fills the theme of Spiders, doesn't she?

Batgirl
Batgirl/s... Batwoman. Yep! Can't be a halloween without these gals! Yeah I picked Stephanie Brown! So what?

Black Cat
Not into GiDs, but I thought I'd put a Goblin in the mix! So Green Goblin takes the Goblin mastermind and Felicia will be our Kitty(as she was last year's Damsel of the Month). Oh look, extra Spider on the side!

Harley Quinn & Catwoman
Can't have a halloween masquerade of cats without Selina! And we'll bring Harley Quinn along for the ride too! Nice.

-----

So that concludes my Damsel of the Month! Next month is Thanksgiving month and I'm not sure just how much time I am allowed with how busy things will get... hopefully I can find some time in between all the things going on and hopefully I can actually pick a single damsel. If not, well, we'll find something.

Other than that, Happy Halloween everyone! Trick a damsel into some lovely bondage game and give her a little treat!

=)

Holiday Prospects!

Ever since the purchase of Mari Illustrious Makinami, I have been enamored by Figma toys! They are on the small scale side but what they offer for their stature is more than enough to satisfy! Asuka, being my number one favorite Evangelion character(Mari being number two), it would only be justified if I get the Figma version of her someday 'SOON' or for the Holidays!

I'm a fan of Playarts Kai; I'm a fan of this alternate version of Wonder Woman. My "DC shelf" is lacking some zest so hopefully with her 'possible' addition it would add a bit more vibrancy in a rather mundane space in my more than exuberant Game Room.

I like this character. He has been an X-Man since the 'beginning' of the "All New X-Men". He has cool powers, he looks absolutely intimidating, that and I need to clutter up my already abundant Marvel Legend collection(that part was sarcasm, I have to make room for him!).

She would indeed be my first S.H. Figuarts in my collection. Only deemed right if it's Sailor Moon. Yes, I'm a fan of Sailor Moon(DUH!). Say any more and I'll punish you!

Her name is Rin Tohsaka. She is wearing red and black, skirt, thigh high stockings, black hair, and she is apparently really cynical and bitchy. Other than that, I know NOTHING about her anime, her character, and what she does. She looks cool though. I like her name and SHE IS Figma!

Yes. Catwoman playarts. She's in the list because .... well it's Catwoman. Though she has been in the list for a while now. Getting her farther down the road won't hurt anyone.

Yukiko Amagi was a fun character to use. She is also Figma! Cool outfit! But other than that, I know nothing about her as well. I'm a bit more informed with her compared to Rin though.

Like I need anymore MLs to clutter up my Game Room. But come on! It's freaking Dr. Doom!!! One of the most nefarious and versatile villain of the Marvel Universe! That and he is on a frugal price point so... And he would be my second male on the wish list.

Oh Yes. She would be a prime testament of my 'love' for a certain preference. I would get her in a heart beat but, she is in the same hefty price tag as a Hot Toy! So yeah. She would be a REALLY SWEET icing on the cake. I wish I was rich. HA!

Injustice: Bad Girls!

Injustice: Gods Among Us Review

So here is my first update on the game Injustice! And it's about the new skins available call the "Bad Girls". Basically, it's an update for Catwoman, Harley Quinn, and Wonder Woman! Harley's original skin probably enamors more than enough fans since it is her apparel that she entered the Animated series in that made her canon in the Batman universe. Catwoman's I believe could be discerned as her New 52 costume without the mask while Wonder Woman's "#600" attire is the one that gets the most aspersions from fanboys who adore Diana showing off more skin and shy away from modesty.

There is a lot of fun seeing some of the fan favorite femme fatales in their new threads. Familiar aberrations make a great alluring sight especially when we are talking about the Catwoman and Harley Quinn insinuated rivalry(February Damsel of The Month). Wouldn't it be fun though if we get a bit of that episode in this game? Now I know, that is being overzealous with the wishes.

Speaking aesthetics with all three, I personally like Harley Quinn the best and despite me not being a big fan of Wonder Woman's revamped attire way back when, I do think it does some good in this game. Sure does a whole hell of a lot better than "Selina Kyle" alternate since that one seems a bit too insipid.

I am hoping for animated Catwoman or Arkham Catwoman sometime in the future! That would be a real awesome fan service! Speaking of Fan Service!

It's a rhetoric question if you ask. Trust me.

So to answer the subliminal, YES. I HAD TO.
So back to the topic at hand. The new threads does make an enticing show of beat downs and exuberant super moves or what not against each other and other DC characters in the roster(Lobo was added in, by the way; probably won't get him. Could care less about him).

But despite all of this I am do have my prowess to a certain winged warrior who happens to have the voice of a prominent voice actor as well!

Now Hawkgirl would be the person I am eager to see what her alternate outfit would be. Black Lantern perhaps? Or her not so enamoring animated series version? Oddly enough, I know very little about this character aside from the fact that she is a female version of Hawkman(duh). Perhaps I will do my research sometime soon but she does make a very good playable character for my taste. Until the time she does get her own alternate outfit...

Damsel Of The Month:

Name: Selina Kyle

Game/Series: DC Comics; Gotham Sirens

Some Words:

Another Icon of the Femme Fatales of DC and perhaps the whole Comic book medium, Selina Kyle has had her share of distressing and perilous situations thanks to the galore of the the DC Villains. But the one thing about this certain 'damsel' that I find a bit interesting is that she was/is a villainess at her own right who used to give Batman strife far too often than he would prefer. Though suffice to say, her popularity ascended when she had the whole ambivalence about her. She has a love and hate rapport with Batman who has is so obstinate in regards to his morals and his way of justice that having Selina somewhat distort his way of thinking by NOT turning her in half the time is indeed a spectacular plot when introduced.

To blatantly state the obvious, Catwoman has gone through a myriad of outfits in her days as a crime fighter/criminal. In her comic adaptation, the one that she got the most distressing scenario(at least from where I have caught) is her purple and black attire. To be honest, was not my favorite of her look, but again, she had the black hair and the curves to show which was enough for me to indulge.

Art by: Lost One Zero
The most popular of the medium is of course her animated series one. Now looks wise, this one had the most mundane look out of all, but to what it established in her constant need to be in bondage in the series and not to mention the popular episode: 'Almost Got 'im', well! That was a classic scene that had plenty of what bondage goers would ask for! Gag talk! Fervent struggling and perilous situation! Not to mention she is kidnapped by a jovial and rather psychotic Harley Quinn! Now, despite the fact that it was her best distressing scene, Selina had a couple. Even shared the screen with Batgirl in a minor but well enough bondage scene (speaking of which, Batgirl will get her fair share of the year! Sometime!)

Now Catwoman's more recent outfit has a bit here and there. Nothing TOO alluring in the realm of D.I.D, but some are enough to capitalize on her feminine assets, so to speak. Yes, I sound rather perverted in these endeavors...

So this DC femme fatale isn't as exuberant in her bondage perils as Wonder Woman is. But regardless, Catwoman has a pretty decent underground Bondage artists and fanfic writers that makes sure she gets her treatment well enough. That and she chooses to use the symbol of a loving kitty cat to strike fear and sensuality into the hearts of men. She may not use a bow and arrow, but she whips any man's heart to size... or among other things, suffice to say. Welps... that concludes this month's then!

And of course, a good friend of mine is also highly enamored by Ms. Selina Kyle. A partial reason how I ended up choosing this femme fatale of DC. So who's for next month then???
