My Words On:

Story:  It's a cliche of a comic book story. Now that doesn't entirely mean it was bad, but it wasn't great. It was an expected turn of events and the way they went about it was predictable to say the least. While I wasn't expecting a huge twist or anything, throwing one in would've been nice.

6.0/10

Gameplay: Most DLC's these days do very little to add a different feel to the the mechanics of a game. If they do it's very miniscule and gamers will barely feel it. But as long as it stays to the element of the game (assuming of course the game was well renounced) then there should be very little to worry about. Build on one success and add some flares to it and you got yourself a good DLC. Harley Quinn's revenge did just that. They stayed with the same formula of Arkham City's success and just added more gameplay with a different character; Robin (Could've picked someone better in my opinion. Nightwing would've been better, more Catwoman could be debatable but I wouldn't argue against it, a new character from the Batman mythos perhaps?). While fans already had the opportunity to use Robin in his challenge map DLC's, the new addition allowed Boy Wonder fans to get him more dialogue and more barbs against him from baddies.

Missed Opportunities: Now when it comes to DLC's, there could always be a lot more that could've been offered that was looked over or perhaps it was not even a thought. That could also be stated about games especially if they are sequels, but that is a different giant to tackle all together. So in regards to Harley's Revenge, these are just of course my main opinions. The validness of my qualms can only be best described as a gamer and a comic book fan.

-A Fresh face: While Robin, Nightwing, and I'll even go as far as saying that Catwoman are new faces in the whole game, perhaps adding on another Batman character would've suffice for a much more fresh air. Personally I think Catwoman being the only femme fatale in the line ups of the characters we are able to play with isn't exactly adequate. Maybe they could've added Huntress or perhaps the five other Batgirls/Batwoman. But again, it's just my stab at the DLC as a person who happens to enjoy female characters in gamplay and as a comic book geek.

-Length: This is a problem for all DLC's. Especially ones that will cost more than $3 is the length. Honestly this DLC could've been an hour MAX (and that's taking one's time) of a DLC. Come on! $10 and I get that long?!

-Antagonist challenge map: They did it for Arkham Asylum. Joker, while he was the main antagonist, he also had a play in challenge maps. He was a unique character and one really feels the difference in using him as opposed to being the Dark knight. While again, Robin, Nightwing, and Catwoman are different beasts altogether, they had the same premise and structure: Stealthy, lots of gadget, and ominous like feel of characters. Harley Quinn would probably adhere with gadgets, acrobatics, and so forth, but she would have been very different. That and come on! They could've added the first part of the story with her breaking out and capturing the cops! That would've made the $9.99 I spent a lot more satisfying.

-Just a bit of Flare: Now this is mostly just on my taste buds to quench. Well, mine and a few others who would've enjoyed this fan service since there is a large community that thrives on D.I.D. What If they choose this route:

Yes. Total Fan Service!

Overall: Again there was no major mishaps. My claims what they could've done better is as valid as any other complaints, but it does its job well enough. The real qualms I have that will drop its overall score is the fact that it cost too damn much for what we got. It could've been $7 and i would've been fine! Yeah, yeah, yeah, what is $2?!

7.5/10
