Words of Wisdom

Eventually, it will

You don’t have to get the desired result from every single effort. Even if just a small percentage of your efforts pay off, you can achieve spectacular success.
There’s no need to get dejected when you take an action and it fails to produce results. Just do it again, and again, until it does bring a positive, valuable outcome.
Often, the way to succeed is to fail enough times. The way to get it right is to get it wrong enough times.
Those who enjoy the most success are also those who have endured a lot of disappointing results. Even when you fall short of the goal, you’re closer to that goal than you were before.
Certainly there’s no reason to purposely seek out disappointing results. But there’s also no reason to let them get you down.
So go ahead, make the effort, even if you’re not sure whether it will produce results. Because eventually, it will.
— Ralph Marston

Words of Wisdom

Challenging environment

If your efforts are not bringing results, don’t make yourself into a victim, complaining about how unfair life is. Change your efforts, making them more focused and effective.
If something is not working for you, don’t make a lot of excuses or look for someone to blame. Instead, look for how you can change your strategy.
Yes, conditions have changed and they will continue to change even faster than before. Rather than seeing that as an excuse, see it as an opportunity.
Doing something new is not a sure thing, but if you refuse to change, it is a sure thing that you’ll get yourself stuck in the past.
If whatever has worked in the past no longer works, that can be disturbing and uncomfortable. Can you find a way to see discomfort as your friend, to push on through, and to transform a disappointing change into a positive opportunity?
Life is not fair, and the world does not stand still, waiting for you to catch up. Yet even in such a challenging environment, you have what it takes to experience a rich and fulfilling life.

Words of Wisom

A little more patience

Have a little more patience, and you’ll have a lot less stress. Take a deep, relaxing, refreshing breath, and allow life to unfold as it will.
Don’t take it as a major personal affront if someone else is not as quick or as competent as you would like. Find a way to enjoy the moment rather than poison it.
Instead of being obsessed about what you might be missing, be thankful for what you have. Instead of being so anxious about what’s next, focus on the richness of what’s now.
Let go of the life-wasting need to prove how important you think you are. Put your energy into improving how good and helpful and creative you truly are.
Enjoy the journey, and enjoy the rich, unique qualities of those who journey with you. Expect the absolute best of life, while giving your vision plenty of time to unfold.
Have a little more patience. Give your life and your world, and all the others in it, the time they deserve.

Words of Wisom

Feel life getting better

Are your feelings held hostage by an uncaring, unpredictable world? They don’t have to be.
Are you joyful only when certain things happen, and sad when other things happen? There is a much better way.
Yes, negative things will happen and it is natural to be disappointed by them. Wonderful things will happen, and it is great to express joy.
But you don’t have to let the negative things keep you down. And you don’t have to hope or wait or beg for the good things in order to be joyful.
You can feel the way you choose to feel, no matter what may be going on around you. That doesn’t mean you are uncaring, but rather that you are intentional in the way you care.
Make positive use of that intention to choose the feelings that will improve the situation for everyone. Feel life getting better, act on your feelings, and make your world a more positive place.

Positive Thoughts

Positive empowerment

Don’t waste your time, thoughts and energy in a state of need. Invest yourself and your life in action.
Free yourself from the burdens of anxiety and worry about what might or might not happen. Get busy living fully, making good and enriching things happen.
This moment is too valuable to contaminate it with negative, limiting thoughts. There are great things you can do right now to improve your life and your world, so go ahead and do them.
Choose to live in a state of positive empowerment by choosing to follow through on your best possibilities. You have the ability to make a difference, and the more you engage that ability, the more fulfilling life becomes.
If you’re waiting for the perfect opportunity, wait no longer. This day is the best opportunity you’ve ever had, because it is when you can take action and move forward.
Let go of the empty wishes, the complaints, the apprehensions, and let yourself do what you do best. Let yourself live richly by acting in every moment to make your world a better place.

…Wow…...

Momentum change

Even the smallest positive effort can create a radical shift in your perspective. Even the smallest positive effort can begin to create a powerful, forward-focused momentum.
If it seems you’re going through a bad stretch, make the choice to change your momentum. Then step decisively forward and act on that choice.
The way to change something is to do something. You can wish and worry and complain until you’re blue in the face, yet nothing good is likely to happen until you act to make it happen.
When you avoid any effort, life can seem endlessly overwhelming. Yet the moment you start to do something you’re suddenly connected, almost as if by magic, to all kinds of positive options.
Though you may not feel like it, and though you may have to do it on faith, take a small positive step. Make a little effort in a good and positive direction, and you’ll be making a big change in your momentum.
Your actions absolutely can make a difference, so choose to use that power. Act to give your momentum a change for the better, and delight in the new direction in which you’re headed.

Words of Wisdom

Allow the best

Allow your world to be beautiful now. Allow your life to be rich and full and joyous.
There are infinite possibilities, and yet the ones you experience are the ones you allow. Make the choice now, and always, to allow the best.
Allow your thoughts to be positive and empowering. Allow your actions to move your life forward.
Allow your spirit to envision life at its very best for you and your whole world. Allow yourself to make that vision real in each moment and with each choice.
Don’t struggle to move yourself toward or away from what might or might not be. Instead, allow your life to unfold according to your highest vision.
The power to make a positive difference is always yours. Allow that power to flow through your life, creating magnificent, meaningful results.
— Ralph Marston

Some Loving and Positive Words

No room for doubt
Have your doubts become too comfortable and familiar? Are your doubts such a big part of your life that they’re holding you back?
Keep in mind that doubt is nothing more than an opinion. You may have good reasons for doubt, but that doesn’t necessarily make it true.
When you have your doubts, what you don’t have is action. When you fill your mind with doubt, you crowd out the positive possibilities.
Certainly it pays to be careful and realistic. But that doesn’t mean you must be doubtful about your own abilities.
Instead of hiding behind your doubts, make the effort to prove them wrong. Instead of letting the doubts hold you back, choose instead to let the challenges push you forward.
Leave no room in your mind for doubt. And you’ll make plenty of room in your life for real fulfillment.
     Ralph Marston

Highest expectations
If you’ve been disappointed, it’s tempting to lower your expectations so you won’t be disappointed again. But that’s not how it works.
In reality, when you expect less you’ll be disappointed more. The lower you aim, the less fulfilling your life will be.
You deserve a life that’s full and rich, so set your expectations high. And see each disappointment as an opportunity to set those expectations even higher.
In one way, disappointment is a good thing because it means you are making an attempt. The key to fulfillment is to keep making those attempts, to keep raising your expectations, and to work your way forward.
A strong sense of purpose is what will keep you going. By continuing to expect the best of yourself you can move quickly away from each disappointment.
When you fail to reach your expectations, raise those expectations even higher. Make it meaningful enough and you’ll make it happen.
— Ralph Marston

No rush

It’s better to wait at the traffic light than to get hit speeding through as it changes to red. It’s better to take the time and do the job right than to rush through and get it wrong.
Before jumping ahead to what’s next, get the full value out of what’s now. Don’t give up your quality experience of the present in a futile attempt to get yourself more quickly into the future.
Time spent waiting never has to be a waste. You can always make it into a valuable opportunity.
That’s because the value of each moment is not dependent on where you are or what activity you’re engaged in. The value of your life in each moment comes from the value you choose to give it.
If you’re in such a hurry to get somewhere else, you lose the ability to give your best to where you are. Slow down, stop rushing and start putting real quality, substance and richness into whatever moment you’re in.
Instead of being a slave to the clock, be a master of your own beautiful experience. Your life right now is much too valuable to speed past, so treasure this very moment in this very place, and make it great.
— Ralph Marston

HUH………..

Is it truly the journey of the future that will bring TRUE meaning to 'everything'? Or is it in the past… the times when things felt exuberantly real rather than hopes and maybes?

I'm learning… or am I diluting myself? Questions.

"Lift Your Thoughts High"

Saturday, January 25, 2014

Lift your thoughts high

You can think whatever you choose, so choose to think highly of yourself. You’re capable of much more than you yet know, so find some more of your unique greatness and bring it to life.
While you’re at it, remember to also think highly of others. The way to bring out the best in people is to sincerely expect it.
Think highly of life itself. Consider what an amazing opportunity each day represents, and do all you can to live up to its beautiful potential.
Think highly of whatever circumstances you find yourself in. Instead of complaining or fearing, use your powerful mind to dig out the best path forward and then use your efforts to follow that path.
Think highly of the future. Rather than worrying about what might come, focus your thoughts and your actions on making the very best of what does come.
Whenever you think, make the choice to think highly. Lift your thoughts high, and your whole world will be lifted.

Feel the goodness

There’s something good in your world right now. Allow yourself to see it.
Peacefully, calmly focus on feeling that goodness. Make it a part of you.
At any time, in any circumstance, whatever your condition may be, there’s much for which to be thankful. Feel the gratitude in the deepest part of your being.
Make the good things more prominent in your awareness. That will make the undesirable things much smaller and less powerful.
See your life in this moment in terms of those things you value and embrace. See the world in terms of the good things to which you can give your energy and your love.
There is very real goodness right here and now. See it, feel it, relish it and move it forward.
— Ralph Marston

Problems

A life of success is not a life free of problems. A life of success is a life in which you acknowledge, accept and deal with the problems and challenges.
Achievement comes not from avoiding the problems. On the contrary, achievement comes from diving into problems and transforming them into positive, meaningful value.
Yes, there are plenty of negative influences in life over which you have no control. However, you have great control over what you think and what you do, so make positive, productive use of that ability.
Convince yourself, without the slightest doubt, that it is possible for you to move forward. Then act on your convictions, and do whatever is necessary to make real progress.
It will not be easy, but when all is said and done, easy is not really what you’re after. What you’re after is a life of meaning, fulfillment, joy and substance.
Instead of running or hiding from the problems, face them with confidence and positive expectations. You are worthy of the best, so work through every challenge and live the very best life you can envision.
— Ralph Marston
