Wonder Woman has finally arrived on the scene to be part of my Bishoujo Collection! After a long time trying to acquire this beauty, I finally got her for a hefty price (much better price than the others had been asking for; half the price to be exact!) and I can't be more elated that she is in my procession!
So the same deal in regards to her box. Nice art, windows to give one the option of keeping her in, which in my opinion as you have all 'heard' me redundantly mention that these said statues are only at their prime outside! But to further elaborate, if one really wants to keep the said statue in, at least the collector can look at the back of the box and see what Wonder Woman would look like fully posed! But to me that would be more cajoling to get her out rather than give incentive of keeping her in! Again the option is always a nice little perk to a collector, but the unfortunate (or fortunate) thing about it is that they aren't done justice in the box. They are meant to be displayed and enjoyed when they are in the outside air. However the only thing detrimental to that notion is if one is trying to resell them. The exposure of outside air and the moment one takes the figure out of the box the value decreases by a lot!
But let's be completely honest. Well, I'll be honest, I'm not planning on selling them AT ALL. I don't collect them just for the mere notion of reselling them again!
Wonder Woman had always been one of my favorite DC characters. She has a bit of history with bondage, she is rather exquisite, her outfit is of course complimenting her assets, and not to mention she is just plain hott! Suffice to say that she has been an icon in the Femme Fatales of the comic book industry for ages and one can discern as to why. This figure does her absolute justice! Bishoujo had always been talented in making their females rather sensually attracting in face, body, and posture. Wonder Woman was given that much justice so to speak!
Her stand is also something to admire. The whole shield, spears, and helmet is trying to fit in with her whole greek lore that she is involved in. While in the past she has always scarcely adorned a shield since the use of her bracelets are about, however in the rare times that she did have a shield they would always be patriotic. Her red, white, and blue color doesn't exactly adhere to her past, but I guess since she does fight for the justice, might as well put a flag on her that FOR SURE concurs with the idea of the said word IN EVERY bit of way! Well enough of that tangent, but notice the 'Ares' like helmet in the stand by the shield? Well, this is the first Bishoujo I ran across that has an accessory on the stand or what not that DOES not stay put. Meaning, it's a pretty loose cannon. It is stuck to nothing and it can slip off with a movement. Oh well, right?
And yes, the backside view. As always, Bishoujo Femme Fatales are always given the proper distribution. Again notice the spears and the helmet? The draped cloth that helps 'support' the shield is a nice little addition to the whole ambiance as well.
And of course what is Wonder Woman without the use of her lasso? The posture of her holding it is insinuating a lot of things, don't you think? Again she is not a stranger to bondage, and for that she is a bit of a tease in and out of her golden lasso that compels evil-doers or herself to do ANYTHING. I imagine what self bondage is like for her!
So she joined the ranks of her DC Femme Fatales! |
And that is the addition in the Bishoujo shelf. Again, probably on my top 3 favorites in my Bishoujo fray. But then again, all of my Bishujos are rather enticing so it's hard to REALLY rank them, but you know, one can't be biased at the idea that Diana Prince shows off the most skin, doesn't she?
