Hello September!

September! Finally the infamous Modok can be finished! The start of a new BAF figure(Galactus anyone?)! An introduction to another 3.75 addition! The Walking Dead season 3 is finally in my grasp! Oh all that elating news comes with a grip of reality: September is the last month for frivolous spending until the Holiday so... Hoping to get Galactus at least out of the way... otherwise it will be a Christmas present.

So what's in this month? Damsel of the Month, toy reviews, perhaps more cryptic posts and whatever.

Looking forward to this new Month! Here we go!

POP!

I happen to own a few of couple of these rather 'cute' and jovial things. I have yet to make a blog about it since, well, just haven't really. So here's a time to do so since I did make an effort to purchase(or someone did) three of them!

Daryl from the Walking Dead

I'm not that far into the series; in fact I'm a season behind but I am rather enjoying it and aside from Rick, Daryl is my favorite character thus far. Perhaps I'll do a blog about the Walking Dead just to further elaborate, but let's put it this way, I am enamored enough to purchase a piece of their toy collection that are out there. Have to say, this man has heart, an aim that is as true as Hawkeye, and his trash talking is rather whimsical for that side of the Red, White, and Blue.

Uncanny X-Force Deadpool

Yes, the ever so cash cow 'merc-with-a-mouth' of Marvel. Honestly, as much as I don't know much about Deadpool, I must say he is getting a lot of buzz on both sides of the spectrum. From what I have read about him, he is amusing. He hangs out with the good crowd most often than not(Avengers, X-Force, Spider-Man, etc.). The times I have delved into him, he is drawn well enough so I can't REALLY complain. So yes, POP goes the Merc!!!!

"The Walking Dead"

There was a time that I stopped being enamored by the Zombie medium. There is a plethora of them out at one point and well, I was kind of burned out. It always had the same kind of idea (and again, a lot of things nowadays *IS* repetitive, but done right, despite it being done before, it can still be exhilarating): Survival, hordes of zombies, apocalypse, blah... blah... blah.

But echoes of this certain: The Walking Dead series had come across my sense of hearing from all corners. A particular good friend of mine finally convinced me when this said friend DID give The Avengers a shot(I mean, why shouldn't you give Avengers a shot right?! Which, probably the same spectrum she is looking at it with The Walking Dead). So... When I begin anew, I'll be watching this for sure!
