Masterless and Rage: Definitive

You know, I could be the one that tells you that I told you so.

Told me the lessons that I already know about? Tell me that people lie?
That and the fact that people try to be something that they are not. People try to do the things they can't do and even if they are given the tools, the means, and the incentives to do what they were supposed to do, they act like heroes in the face of their failures. People don't change. People don't learn. They failed once, they try again. They fail again, and they keep perpetuating the same actions that causes them to stumble and fall. They claim that it is so important to them, and yet in the face of a red flag, they ignore it. Someone had the means, and they chose their avarice, their self appointed title of being the hero to try and save something that was too great for them.
There are no heroes in this world. There are only fools. There are only people who try and stand on the pedestal given to them, claim it to be their own but given the chance to fight for something, they cower, they buckle, and they hide behind their woes and defeat. People make vows, promises, and oaths only to be burdened by temptation. People are people... life is life. People don't change. Even amidst the situation of possibly redeeming themselves, they choose to be an asinine human being. There is no good or evil... only idiots. There is no heaven and hell has their vacant signs on. All the demons are in this world.

It could have been so simple. It could have been such an easy feat to just follow one's word. I had the urge to do that, but people chose not to do the same for me. They kept the same methods of 'venting', silence, and idiotic empty promises when they know for damn sure it doesn't work.
People are selfish, you know that. I for one have not seen a single person who is willing to fight just as hard as you and me. I have never met a person willing to do the impossible to try and change the ways that aren't working. They choose to be selfish because it makes them feel good.
And what if the storm ends? Will they finally see their failures and try to be something worthy? Will they come back and claim their idiocy and be the advocate of changes? Or is everyone just the same face we have met before? Same sinister, malice, and irrevocable selfish beings that are just meant to tear down walls and rape the core within us?

The storm never ends and if they do find it in themselves to gain some testicular fortitude, they will never change. They are as they are, same old songs, familiar masks, and villains in heroes' clothing. The Definitive pattern in this lifetime is that everyone is the same. Everyone is a shard of another poison we have taken. May judgement be so cruel to them... and no, there are no gods to judge, only people who are heralds of clockwork poison. May they feel the pain that we have felt. And may they remember that there was once one who tried to make them malleable for change, tried to show them that someone could care... all the person needed was a fragment of effort.

To act accordingly to their word. To do the act that they promised they would.
"Act accordingly to their word?" That is an amusing statement.
Indeed.
